"Everything cool, food staff price until I found a hair in my plate..."
"Also, DONT TAKE AWAY THE MENU WHEN PEOPLE HAVEN’T FINISHED ORDERING."
"A nice place to have hot-stone self-cooked beef cutlet or lamb chops."
5 Rustic, Authentic, Bustling Spanish Vibe - Had our last meal in Spain here and it was delicious! Had the paella, anchovies in vinegar, calamari, garlic prawns - it was all very good!
5 Service with a smile here, and whilst we were encouraging our children to use the Spanish language they've been learning at school, the waiter was very patient and encouraging. The food was good too, arrived fairly quickly and we demolished it all. Would recommend.
5 Great stop for some beer and tapas. We were seated on the street, which is cool, but mind the frequent interruptions from street “vendors”.
5 We got the hint from a tour guide for good spanish food - and we were not disappointed! The food was absolutely perfect, we had different kinds of Tappas, mostly seafood! Delicious! Furthermore, the price was very ok, for example a large beer (0.5l) less than 4€ Last, the staff was very nice and friendly. I can absolutely recommend!
5 Super good, fresh cooked food. Very tasty & delicious. Fair prices. The waiter could be a little bit more relaxed and friendly. Would do great to the Ambiente. Toilettes miss on shine. Have been little messy while we have been there. Hand blower defect. Other than - we would go here anytime again.
5 Good service, delicious food and fair price. Had the fried calamari as tapas and the portion is quite big, can easily eat 2 people from one calamari tapas. It comes with bread to have it as a bocadillo and a tasty alioli sauce. I recommend this place for some late night tapas!
5 Really loved this little restaurant. Great service from the waiters. It can get very busy, but they always are very attentive. They have menus in Spanish and English. During my stay I had the Boquerones, Tellinas, Bocadillo de Calemares (which they gave me as a take away for the train ride), Patatas Bravas y Croquetas. The Agua de Valencia was a great drink. They also offer breakfast but I am more of a coffee in the morning person. The atmosphere is improved by the Buskers playing music during the dinner service. Because I was traveling alone I didn't get to try half the menu. Can't wait to repeat the visit with the family. Well worth a visit.
5 Los Tonelos is a very authentic restaurant and a great place to experience local food. The place is nice and has a warm, traditional atmosphere. The food is very good, full of flavor, and clearly prepared with care. The service is fast and friendly, which makes the experience even better. You can’t reserve a table, so you have to wait in line, but it’s worth it. You should definitely try it.
Many guests enjoy the seafood tapas like garlic prawns, calamari, and anchovies in vinegar, as well as the traditional paella.
Los Toneles works well for both quick stops and relaxed sit-down meals, with small plates perfect for sharing at a leisurely pace.
